Urania Rusty Logo No-Brand
URANIA Rusty Logo No-Brand is the first act carried out by designer Fabio Quaranta as a way to free himself from his personal historical archive, a collection he began at the age of 15 and has carefully guarded until today.
In this first act of URANIA Rusty Logo No-Brand, Fabio Quaranta selected 99 garments from his archive that originate from military, worker and rural contexts. Each piece has been marked with the Urania logo, a gesture of reappropriation that evokes the “culture of non-creative production,” a principle the designer has consistently pursued in his work, in his parallel projects and in his teaching practice.
